With a fully fit squad what would be your starting XI?
And bench?

For me, this squad is the best since we had the emergence of Ferdinand, Cole, Carrick and Lampard.

It will be a true test of intent from our owners as to whether they will they keep this squad together and continue to build or sell our jewels and be happy as a 2nd class prem team. If it's the former we have a serious chance of challenging the top 6.

If we can go out and either get a top draw wide player to replace Snod, or a top draw striker and play Arnie wide, that is comfortably the best front 4 outside the top 6.

Some difficult choices there - especially leaving out Antonio and Snodgrass based on recent form. I would be inclined to use Antonio as RB against sides that offer less of an attacking threat - also to rest Zabaleta. Snodgrass can come in to rest either of the wide men or Lanzini - a vital squad player. Noble only just makes the cut - he still pulls a lot of strings in midfield but for me, it's his position where we most need to strengthen. Obiang is OK but not good enough to take us to the next level.

Re: With a fully fit squad what would be your starting XI?

He’s not pretty or classy like Yarmolenko but a fit and in form Antonio as we saw tonight is such a handful and with him Anderson and Arnie that is blistering pace and power across the front three and Lanzini isn’t exactly slow
Quite exciting if we can actually get people fit and Keeping Arnie fit and getting him firing is the key to us having a successful season

So nice to see Antonio getting back to the form.he showed before his injuries. Always liked him and he seems to be enjoying playing under Pellegrini.

Re: With a fully fit squad what would be your starting XI?
Antonio still doesn't fill me with confidence as a fullback. He makes a far better fist of being played out of position as centre forward than in defence.

Re: With a fully fit squad what would be your starting XI?
Antonio is the most frustrating player i’ve ever seen, has all the physical talent in the world but severely lacks technique, like today when he ran about 50 years with the ball shrigging off people then completey sliced his shot 40 yards wide

If we are actual talking fully fit, which is a fantasy with us in and of itself.

I would have Wilshere in there.

For who becomes a nice problem to have.

Antonio was brought from Forest on the value he was playing up front scoring goals for them.

He is not a nature right back

Re: With a fully fit squad what would be your starting XI?
To be honest I forgot about Wilshire when I put my team on here - it's hard to imagine him being fully fit and firing. But I suppose he would take Noble's place.

Re the comments on Masuaku, it was me that started a recent thread in his defence. But I was only saying he's not as bad as many people on here make out. I also said that Cresswell at his best is clearly a better option, and thankfully that looks like it could be happening.

Wilshere gets nowhere near for me . Vastly overrated. Gives the ball away constantly, can’t score , creates little , made of glass .

I don't believe that Reid or Wilshire will ever be sufficiently fit to be truly 100% and be able to play week in week out so I've not even included them in this fantasy 11.
